Damoa Gong #18 Buddha Converging to The One
- Open your feet as wide as your shoulders with toes pointing to the front and grabbing the ground at the same time.
- Bring your hands together in front of your face and keep your forearm pointing straight up and down.
- Keep your thighs together as you sit down gently. The lower part of the legs split to the sides and touch the ground. The inside of your ankles should touch the grond. The soles should be facing away from you. At the same time raise your hands and arms up.
- If you have trouble sitting down, do not force the posture. Standing is fine as well.
- Breathe naturally. Close your eyes and rest peacefully.
- Eliminate all thoughts from the mind to achieve inner peace.
Benefits
This form is the conclusion to Baiyang Damoa Gong. It concludes the motions of the body and guides the "chi" (qi) set into motion by the previous 17 forms. Calm your mind and relax the whole body. You will achieve tranquillity from the motion and reach the goal of ultimate inner peace naturally without conscious effort.
